Meet The Manager.

It's Monday again and I woke up in the morning with a bad headache...A lousy start for a lousy week...and to make things worse, guess what, I gonna have my annual medical check-up on Friday, the least exciting day of the year for the hyper-anxious me...Just imagine the doctor say that he found out you are suffering from somekind of disease and you have another 3 months to live - What can you say about that?!!!

The Manager...

Anyway...My friend Masa just got a job as the floor manager in a newly-opened restaurant called Yu-banta. It serves a fusion dining which assembles something of a cross between Italian and Okinawan food. Due to it's opening, Masa invited us to his restaurant to taste the "Comfortable Resort Dining" (as advertised) on the balcony of the restaurant.

Cheers to the new Man.

I'm no spy for Zagat but I'll give full 30 points on everything (The Grilled Chicken with Shima Tofu is fabulous)...except for the view from the balcony, it's just in front of a Honda service center.
So if nice bod mechanics repairing a VTEC engine of a Civic turns you on, it the place for you to be....

Gambare!!! Okamoto sempai!!!

Our own Outbacks joint...

Just another manic monday...oo..ooooo
It's monday today but who who cares, I wanna write about saturday....

Officially Tsuyu* will be all over Tokyo area starting on June 10th but amazingly it wasn't raining on saturday, so Okamoto sempai to take the oppotunity to proceed with his plans of doing the BBQ in Misato park which is some where between Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture which should had been canceled 3 days earlier.

Look how cute he is...

This time Okamoto sempai was, I can say 'armed to the teeth' for the BBQ. Not only the various food he prepared, just name it...we got beef ribs, beef sirloin, shrimps, heaps of vegies, scallops and even the grotesque looking sazae shellfish. He also bought the whole set of BBQ set including the foldable outdoor table and chairs as we were going to live there. According to him, it's a long term investment...ermmm....whatever....

nice meat yeah!!!

No matter what Okamoto sempai's intention that day, I might say that it was the most successful BBQ we ever had. It only took us about 10 minutes to light the fire a brand new record for us who usually took at least an hour just to get the charcoal smoking.

Tsuyu* : A meteorogical condition which describes the weather disturbance during spring(from month of June till the end of July) on the area that streches from the east China coast, across Taiwan and eastward into the Pacific south of Japan.
(in other words...it's the rainy season)

I think I said tsuyu already....

- got it tsuyu,to you...har har har....
