Nine good reasons....

Nine good reasons why I don't buy CDs anymore:

  1. Running out of storage space for all the CDs I bought just for 1 or 2 tracks each.
  2. Never know what the store has in stock and what they don't and it's a pain to try and find specific CDs in some of these places where their alphabetical(even worst in katagana) tabs have all been moved around out of order.
  3. MPeg 1 Audio Layer 3
  4. It's easier to preview tracks online rather than go to the store and wait for an open listening station.
  5. Since I found Tsutaya 8 years ago
  6. Bit Torrent
  7. WinMx,Winny...
  8. Kazaa,Shareza,Limewire...
  9. Ipod + ITunes

Exceptional for today when I bought Meltdown by ASH

And why Meltdown?...:

  • I'm a great fan of ASH who always miss their tour every year.
  • The single 'Clones' is the soundtrack of Republic Commando which I just finished playing last weekend.Worth checking the review.

Keeping the tracks coming because I need a reason to get an Ipod Photo

p/s:tengah sayu dengar lagu 'Akan Ku Kenang' from JUNCTION(1988)...terkenang episode cinta tak kesampaian(kes syok sendiri) masa darjah 6.

bakusouyarou*!!!

I found this on the internet about a brief history of Michael Schumacher:
Schumacher was born in Hurth(close to Cologne. He started out his racing career in the same way as all the great drivers,in karting. He began racing karts at the age of four in a home-made kart built by his father,Rolf, who managed the local karting track(located in Kerpen,Schumacher's hometown). He obtained his first license, and began racing competitively,by age twelve.

and me...

Kriskross(me) was born in KLGH(in Kuala Lumpur). He started out his racing career in the same way as all the great drivers,in karting. He began racing karts at the age of twenty at the local karting track,F1 Dream(located in Hiratsuka,30 minutes drive from Kriskross's former college). He obtained his japanese car license in 2002 after failed twice, and started again racing competitively since last Sunday.

from starting formation to the pole position.

the next grandprix will be held on 11th April at KartOff,Kita-senjyu.

The Shelter

I went to Shelter in Shimokitazawa last night to see some guys with their band Weather who I got acquaintance with during last raibu uchiage*.

For those who don't know,The Shelter is one of the famous populatiry breeding grounds for bands which started from humble beginnings of underground/indie backgrounds and later become some of Japanese major bands like Asian Kung-Fu Generation,GO!GO!7188 and more.I used to come down to Shimokitazawa until 4 years ago and I can call it as one of my playgrounds when I was a student....it's been a long time.

Weather + Pealout

About the live event I went that night,it was called 'Natsu wo matu pooru',means 'The pool's waiting for summer'....Hey!I'm waiting for summer,it's March and it still snowing....Anyway,there were 4 bands participated on that event:Table,Weather,Pealout and NAHT.Pealout was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! but unfortunanely they gonna breakup this summer....too bad.
