Project Disneyland 2005

Future Together.

It's the Kingdom of Magic...where wishes come true,it's a world of laughter,it's a world of hopes,there's so much that we share...it's a small world after all,it's a small bla,bla,bla...well,you know Disneyland.So i went there...again,my 16th time in 8 years.
nothing much changed...there is still the Cinderella Castle,Space Mountain, that over-reacted Jungle Cruise boat driver, etc.
But this time was different,i was on a volunteer work to spend a day in Tokyo Disneyland with mentally and physically challenged children.it was a nice experience for me and i'm sure other volunteers as well to spend time not for enjoying ourselves but accompanying these extraordinary kids while having fun with them in Disneyland.

my team.

Frankly speaking,i've been involved in many volunteering works and none of them is soo touching as this one, especially for a human being like me.i admit that i never satisfied nor grateful of what i have and what i am right now...well,i'm sure everybody else too....especially living in this materialistic world with the materialistic society on it.i may not satisfied because i'm not making 50k USD per-year and doesn't have privilege to use the company's cooperate credit card(!!!) like people around me although we are doing the same work, working in the same team and having the same rank....but on the second thought i should be grateful that i still have my brain functioning well(...except for my homicidal tendencies recently),with normal legs so can walk properly and a pair of working hands with fingers which come in handy especially showing the middle one on somebody's back....

In the Kingdom Of Magic we are

After a good satisfiying 6 hours of spending time with the kids,it was time to send them back to their parents. We exchanged presents and said goodbye to each other.Again,It was nice experience and i'm looking forward to do it again next year.

Since i still had my invisible infra-red re-entry seal stamped on my arm during my way out of Disneyland to send off the kids and didn't accidentally wash it off in the toilet like i did several years back, i rendezvous with Jay,Greg,Eric and other volunteers(office buddies) who got separated with their groups earlier, got in back to Disneyland.as expected, with these very 'young at heart' grown-ups on leashed in a theme park like Disneyland,things....(i'm skipping this part)...and ride all the attractions again twice....haaa...penat...

the always 'young at heart'
