Prologue : Busy week. Tonight is my company's Year End Party and tomorrow is Japanese public holiday(Japanese labour day)....I'll be working tomorrow.
Here what happenend in a timely fashion:
10:00 - 19:30 : work...as usual,work.
19:35 - 19:55 : took a cab from my office(near Tokyo) to
Hotel Okura(near Kamiyachou).
...as it is 20:00 - 21:30 : Attended the Year End Party at Hotel Okura.
Some party... A ritual sacrifaction event done in public. 21:35 - 22:00 : Left the party right before the lucky draw(not feeling lucky to win a 32inch plasma TV nor a paid trip to Dubai) and took a cab to Dougenzaka,Shibuya.
22:05 - 22:30 : Arrive in Shubuya. Called Okamoto sempai but no answer so I went up and down Dougenzaka(...It's kinda a hill).
22:30 - 23:45 : Finally Okamoto sempai showed up and took me to where Rie's birthday party is - then the party.
Rie with her tiny birthday cake. Some more party... 00:00 - 01:30 : First session of Karaoke with Rie and some unknown blokes.
Shibuya - All night. 01:45 - 04:45 : Second session(different Karaoke few blocks away) of Karaoke with Okamoto sempai and some intenational friends.
05:00 - 06:00 : Rendezvous with Rie at
109 and then went to a 24 hour restaurant for cups of hot tea.
06:10 - 06:30 : Took the early Yamanote line train to Tokyo - Slept in the train and almost missed Tokyo station.
06:45 - 07:25 : With a
3 Star Hangover, arrived at the office and had the day's sleep.
3 Star Hangover. 07:30 - 16:30 : Work, not as usual, because it was a public holiday in Japan.
Moral of the story : There are some certain limits when trying to impress your superiors...with only 30 minutes of sleep in one day is just too much.
I'll also be working on this weekend...
cheers!!!
