hatsu shigoto...

akemashite omedeto gozaimasu

it's 2005 and it's still another beginning of a new working week.
since the japs treat the New Year like their own Raya,I had quite a long holiday(from 30th till 4th)and today is my first day of work in 2005.
and as usual,on the year's first day of work, japs in the same company(some with kimono) will come to you,bow and say "kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu" means something like "looking forward for your kind cooperation this year"...or in melayu,"kalau ader apa2 tahun ni,mintak tolong yer"...not only that,in fact, whenever i come across with some japs on my way to the toilet, etc. they'll do the same thing, they'll stop by,bow and again "kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu" well,i have to reply them the same thing.
i tell you...i did a lot of bowings today.

1 point Nihonggo(i gonna start this new column):
the japs usually say "hatsu(something)" whenever they do something for the first time in that particular year and it's used especially during few weeks after the 1st of january....let me give an example sentence:

today i went to my office for my "hatushigoto"(first work of this year) and during lunch,i "hatsuogori"(first treat of this year)my co-worker,Mayumi.After that,i think that i'm having my "hatsukataomoi"(first crush of this year)on my co-worker,Mayumi.

you may practice this usage of japanese language with japs near you and they will surely say....SUGOIIII!!!!
